I simply ignore most of them. Eventually they will die. There's like 8 people here running 5 to 6 socks each.

I know only one person, and he has about 50 socks ..... though not at the same time.

I had a very interesting conversation a while ago with one of the higher mods whose judgement I trust, and I believe that there are a few of the top mods who do their very best to deal with the problem. I'm afraid that the problem will get worse as technology gets smarter.

What we can do is recognize them, shame them, and report them every single time we catch them.

If you suspect somebody is a sock, report it. Do not accuse other members in the public forum of being a sock. This is happening way too often lately and it needs to stop.
