tomorrow is a public holiday in some European countries
Maybe you have come across this feast day while travelling through Europe?
It is a Catholic holiday.
A public holiday in some parts of Germany.
i like the festive atmosphere of that day.

.

I'm not sure if we're having a procession here. We are having a special Mass outside, followed by Eucharistic Adoration in most churches.

OhPleaseJustQuit

you will know about this day? 🙂
.

I have yet to march in a Corpus Christi procession, but it's a day I love. And yes, they really do it up in Europe.

Thank you for this beautiful picture! 😍😇

I have often been to these processions. :)
They are worth seeing. … or taking part, ifpossible.

I needed yesterday about 2 hours for the following translation from the German of the years ~825-~1225 AD to German 2025 AD.

„Fronleichnam“ = „Herrlicher Körper des Lichtes Gottes“ = “Glorious body of the light of God” = "Corpus Christi Day"

When I was a child this was a very great celebration with a big procession and many unbelievable beautiful altars made with flower pictures - like such an example:
