Heard one similar some time ago--cop pulls guy over at shift change and tells speeder that if he has a story that the cop had never heard before, he could go free. The speeder says, "Well it's like this, some years ago my ex wife married a cop and I thought you were trying to give her back." The cop closed his ticket book and said, "Have a nice day sir."
