Collateral is one of Tom Cruise's hit movies. It was directed by Michael Mann of Heat (neo noir film), Miami Vice tv show, and more. In it, Cruise plays a hit man so it isn't a role that he is known for. He is one of the most talkative hit men I have seen on the screen and he says some interesting things.
Anyway, I wanted to discuss the opening scene where there is an airport man (credit) who bumps into Cruise who just arrived in LA. Obviously, he isn't going to be carrying the tools of his trade. Was the airport man playing a character from another movie? Maybe he wasn't as famous when Collateral was made.
