They found this out DECADES ago and splashed it all over the newspapers, magazines, and TV shows/advertisements. NOBODY CARED THEN, they still buy the stuff and wont stop buying it. Just like everything else thats toxic to humans these companies pump out!

This is why Crisco fell out of the national top seller spot for cooking oil/lard decades ago. But what everybody don't comprehend is, you don't know WHAT they really put into anything anymore.

The FDA allows any company to put in anything they want, and NOT have to put it on the label, IF THEY PAY THE BRIBES UP FRONT to the FDA.

The FDA also DOES NOT REQUIRE posting of ingredients if they are 5% or LESS of the total volume of the product. So companies can dump whatever they want into the food and drink supplies and NOT have to put it on the label, as long as the companies claims its LESS than 5%.

Read this book many years ago.

From it, I learned about the top brands of olive oil , from a UC Davis study, research proving that those few brands were guaranteeing that they were unadulterated. Since then, except for the very rare dining out that I've done, the only oils I've used are high quality animal fats, high quality coconut oil, and this:

And if I don't use it by the best-by date, it's still great to use in oil lamps, the way Jesus and his friends did.

pig fat works good
.

It's indestructible! I get a bunch of lard from a great pork grower in Iowa. I render it and pour in canning jars, put the lids on while the fat is still hot and the lids pop, just like jars do when you process them in water bath or pressure canning. The jars will stay great on your pantry shelf for YEARS!

Beef tallow works as well! I just opened a jar of tallow that I put up five years ago, and it's beautiful! Remember what donuts and french fries were like fried in beef tallow? My jar of tallow smelled and tasted so much like the donuts my dad fried sixty years ago!

I'm thinking, now this is just me thinking out loud now................

It's not really the seed oils themselves. Any raw oil derived from a seed shouldn't be bad. It's the PROCESSING and toxic shit they DO to the oils that turn them bad for us.

Just like raw, pure olive oil is great and processed olive oil is bad..............I would think this goes the same for all other oils.

Personally I like sunflower oil, but the raw stuff is heinously overpriced like everything else good for us.
It's the PROCESSED crap that has all the additives and chemicals put in it thats bad for us.

So, if you get the UNprocessed oils, they should be fine to use. Although some oils are much better at frying and high heats than others.
