May I suggest that "Britain" be added to that list?

Britain is not truly (historically, politically) part of Europe and frankly Europe is far too large to wrap up under a single heading anyway.

I have things to say about my own country some good and some bad:

But if writing under "Europe" is my only option I don't feel inclined to.

Thank you.

Winston

Whether or not I support this idea depends on whether or not you intend to have threads on places whose food is "moreish" as you folks like to describe it.

Food's a splendid subject to post on, let me introduce - a pie in a can:

This large "toothpaste" cheese is not available in the USA (I spent many years there) yet seems to be a perfect US product

I am quite fond of Walkers crisps for my mass-produced munchie needs. I've ordered them stateside but they often come burst open thanks to the fine folks at UPS delivery manhandling the boxes.

Anyway, I do support a Britain sub just because your economy is largely a lone-wolf these days even though I dislike sites that lump in Scotland and call it the UK.

Deal with Europe, son.
Probably will be less relevant in a few years when the
Muslims enforce their religious laws on Britain.
Might be able to relegate Britain to the religious forum at that point. :smoke:
It is what it is.

Britain is not part of the EU any more,
but it always was and still is part of Europe.
Geographically yes, just as Canada, Mexico and the United States etc, are part of North America.

As I said, I'd like to discuss such issues.

Excellent, Your first topic should be how Wales should be part of the Irish Republic. They are, after all, Celtic people.

It would be redundant, we already have a

"Best part of the British invasion..."

Thread.

I just work here, but kind of agree with you. Your country is somewhat separate from Europe, even refused to adopt the Euro, retaining control and use of the British Pound. Even though, we had to kick you the fk out, back in the 1700s, (because, Hey, You Had To Go. I mean, really.) we probably still share a greater bond with you, than any other country on the rest of the continent, even have a shared language (kinda).

Also Britain comes up quite often with respect to laws, freedoms, Islam, immigration, more so than any other EU country, and I am critical of some of these developments.

Rest assured had I been in the country at the time of the rebellion, I most certainly would not have been a royalist.

Would this be the proper-subforum to announce my new line of unisex Burkas in all the popular rainbow colours so Churchill can get in on all the fun?

Asia and Africa are listed as single entities, containing many separate countries. The small places listed are because of wars. Maybe y'all blokes need to attack someone near you. Don't you hate France, and always have?

Most of them hate the U.S.

They can feel free to provoke another war, this time we'll do Canada right.

We wouldn't even be a country now, without France helping us in the revolutionary war, because they despised England.
