Conservatives should support protection of employees from arbitrary firing for off-duty activities.

The simple reason is the following: almost every Conservative has said or written something for which Progressives would want them cancelled and their career destroyed.

In some states limited protections exist. Here.

Presently, California, Colorado, Louisiana, New York, and North Dakota prohibit employers from firing or retaliating against employees for off-duty lawful activity, including speech. Arguably, this could include conduct that their employers and coworkers may find offensive.

Conservatives should vote and campaign to strengthen these laws.
