I assume she's a democrat. A more elegant way to make the point (and maybe she did) was to state the obvious; when you have a political class who does not understand the day-to-day challenges of those they govern; their governance is not congruent with the challenges....it can't possibly be.

The Investor Class really seems to think that the Working Class- you know, the people who actually do the work - are making too much money. When they aren't busting unions or replacing us with machines, they are moving factories to China and trying to convince you China is the enemy.
