Jolly-Sink showdown comes to close - FOX 13 News

A very close special election is occurring today between Republican David Jolly and Democrat Alex Sink.

My gut tells me that Alex Sink will win this one by a very close margin, mostly because I was too optimistic for the Republicans in the 2013 elections in Massachusetts, Virginia, and New Jersey(Senatorial, not gubernatorial).

Regardless of the outcome, Democrats are still in trouble in November.(in my opinion) In 2010, Democrats did very well in special elections, even winning a McCain CD in Pennsylvania, only to get pummeled in November.

PPP was off by 5 points. This means their other polls likely have a Dem skew this year.
