Boy Congress sure is holding the American public hostage! That Reid just turned down a great offer to fix the debt ceiling yesterday and make Congress more responsible with a balanced budget amendment and more time to hash out additional spending cuts over the next six months. Instead, he will risk default in order to avoid protecting us from inflation, interest rate hikes, further job losses and a fiscally sound future. Democratic actions are clearly intending on ruining the economy and turning us into a socialist state dependent on the government for life itself.

I think the system works better than many say it does. Also, we have not had riots in the streets over this like Europe. Just pointing out what happens other places. The comparision may give us some real hope.

I more than agree. By "more" I mean that congress will never turn off the corporate spigot. I say kill "K" Street...figuratively and if necessary literally.
