. . . late night network spot.

I forced myself to watch the full monologue that contained the lines that got him "indefinitely" taken off the air. I found him very unfunny overall, but I could see how his audience would at least feel good about watching him, even if they don't really laugh.

Still, the idea is supposed to be to entertain. Please post your choices for funnier comics that might make you want to watch ABC again.

I'll start with one example:

Here she goes a ways for a final punchline that was worth the buildup:

I miss her days when Carson, Leno, Bishop, and Parr were on.

they were entertaining, unlike the recent crop

I haven't watched a late show in decades. For a while I watched Leno only on Mondays at specific times to watch the Headlines segments. I don't know what would work now when people awake then can watch many online videos instead of settling for just whatever is on local TV.

There are Conservative comediennes who could have shows on broadcast TV and get at least the same rating and more. Imagine the smears and demeaning statements they can make on progressive politicians. and any person known who is a progressive. So let us have a combined show with a progressive and a conservative as hosts or let them take turn from week to week. A week of Progs and a Week of Conservatives. You know, real freedom of speech.

This guy is hilarious, he does not just tell a story he ACTS it out for full context

Jimmy Kimmel is great, the best late night host for the past decade. He is in California, where people rightfully despise Trump. Trump and Sinclair are trying to silence him, but America still loves Jimmy.

No way he would do it - but my God if Bill Burr did it - it would explode. I would 100% watch it.

This young one is pretty funny. He does some racial humor, but with an actual sense of humor. Angry applause lines are not humor, especially since the applause is canned for shows like Kimmel's.

Here he lampoons one of the most sacred groups in the old Democrat victim list, single moms:
