feel free, to reply back with some focus on the B-1 Bomber
Big waste of money. The B-1 bomber costs $61,027 per flying hour. Calculate how many bombers the strikes took, the distance they flew, and not to mention, the price of the armament they dropped, then get back to me.
We have two airbases in Iraq, at Erbil and Al-Asad. Our mission in Iraq is to aid the Iraqi military in their fight against terrorists, and we've already used AC-130 gunships on Iranian-backed militias in IraqSo striking them in Iraq should be the responsibility of the Iraqi military.
We also have 6 bases in Syria, and the two strikes we made with the B-1 bombers (Dier al-Zour and Mayadeen) could have more easily have been done with gunships or drone strikes.
