Call of Juarez Bound in Blood
this game is 10 years old, but it is a fantastic Old West game
..it starts out in the Civil War ...at the end of each mission/objective you have a quick draw shoot out, with surging music, against the bad guy
..the graphics are great for 2009 and still are not bad at all
...the music really puts you in the Old West.....one of my favorite things about the game
..shoot outs with gangs and Indians
...old gold mine shoot outs
..stagecoach shoot out
..nasty outlaws
....many different terrains ....
.a canoe mission down rapids shooting the Indians
..Old West Towns
....Mexican/Spanish
...Native American teepee villages in the wooded hills
Winchesters/sawed off shotguns/etc .....
...in between some missions, you can pick up wanted posters for extra missions
..... I rate it as one of my number one games...--can be slow --- riding your horse after wanted gangs--lonesome music -----with your rifle and pony
it had multiplayer, but no one plays MP anymore---too bad.....

I haven't seen any real game/graphics progress since they started with the "always on DRM" crap.

With the phones being so prevalent, everything has to be dumbed down.

Like..they could never solve puzzles and progress in..damn! What's that one old game?

Myst? Is it Myst?
I had a game kinda like the OP was talking about, but I think it was Red Dead Revolver?
