CNN's world starts north of New York City...goes west as far as Boston, then dips down to D.C. suburbs. Also, if political discussions take place outside of Manhattan or a college campus Starbucks, they don't know shit about it. Gallup primarily takes online polling and working class folks do not have the time nor inclination to fill one out. Also, Rust Belt blue collar folks do not do phone polls either. They hang-up.
