Politifact took on the claim that the Clinton's stole $200k in furniture, china and artwork from White House when they left office.
They succeed is arguing that the $200k figure was too high, but they fail to make the case that the Clintons did NOT attempt to make off with a 'treasure' of items that did not beling to them. As in almost every Clinton scandal, their defense comes down to how 'it was all an honest mistake'.
Politifact attempts to argue that, IN THE END, it was NOT 'stealing' becauae after they got busted they returned a lot of it and was forced to pay for much of what they took.
Evidently, according to liberals, it's only stealing if you take it and get away with it. If you get caught and have to return it and/or pay for it then it's NOT stealing.
POLITIFACT:
"The Clintons returned about $48,000 in furniture, and they paid the government about $86,000 for other items. Any way you count it, the $200,000 figure is too high."
Politifact's final decision is that the Clintons did not steal from the WH, NOT based on the fact that they didn't do it - which they did - but based on the disputed AMOUNT of how much they stole.

Now liberals want these criminal, pilfering Arkansas hillbillies back in the WH so they can fleece America some more
