Grand Rapids is firmly red town, red county, voted for Orange Shit Stain in 2016.
This isn't just about George Floyd.
It's about people losing the jobs, they have no money, they're tired of being shut down and I suspect they're pretty sick and tired of "WINNING" now, too.

Half of the people at the protests were white. Maybe more.

Asians and Hispanics, too.
There's a video posted on FB of a black woman confronting a white woman who is tagging the Starbucks in Philadelphia with "BLM".
She asked her not to do this because blacks will be blamed for it.

It never should have been allowed to get to that point. But yeah, Grand Rapids is by and large, a CONSERVATIVE city. It's actually a very nice place

To me, every mess should be cleaned up by whoever made it in the first place and if they are in police custody, that right there is just the beginning of what should be a good, long, and lengthy well deserved punishment.
