The economy wasn't affected in any but the most incremental way by FDRs programs, and it had leveled off. People have to guess whether or not they would have actually had any more of an impression on the economy to the positive, and some are fairly certain they would have affected it negatively.

But his plan will not drive corperations out of the contry, Bush has already done that by gving tax insentives to companies to outsource jobs. Obama plans to remove these tax breaks. His plan does not go into the trillions, he plans to use 75 billion to restimulate the economy.
