City Of Albuquerque Refers Trump Campaign Bill To Collection Agency

What a hoot. Mr. "I'm so wealthy!" can't pay his bills-

The New Mexico city of Albuquerque has sent an unpaid bill for former President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign to a debt collection agency, officials said.

The $211,175.94 bill stems from a rally held in 2019 by Trump’s reelection campaign in the nearby city of Rio Rancho. According to the Albuquerque Journal, Trump stayed overnight in Albuquerque while in the area for the Sept. 16 rally, forcing the city to shut down city hall and other parts of downtown.

This and all those bankruptcy's are not going to help your credit rating Mr. Stable Genius--

He should just pull a Clinton, open up a "Foundation" and announce he is running in 2024. He will have tens of millions from nations all over the world to support his great causes.

Of course, miraculously, if he decides to not run again, all of the donations will dry up...

First off, if Trump's future campaign were to accept money from another nation or foreign source, it would not only be illegal, but also unConstitutional (you conservatives like the Constitution, right?) and if Trump actually did take money from foreign governments, it would be seen by the American public as him being bought off by other countries.

Oh ok, so his wife or daughter can start such a Foundation and then he can announce he is running. Clinton did it, and then ran. I didn't say I liked it, I'm saying this has been the tactic of many in Western politics for too long and there hasn't been any consequences.

Just look at how many millions some in your Congress are worth and how long they have been in their position.

Its important to know the difference between a private charity and a Public Operational Charity.
Or a scam like the one Hillary runs.

You are so bloody stupid that you don't know what a Public Operational Charity is or that it had the same percentage of overhead costs as the American Red Cross.

Nonsense. My own research which compares the Clinton and Trump Foundations' finances...

If you question it, here are the IRS 990 forms...

How many lawsuits was Walmart involved with, when Hillary Clinton was part of their brass?

Large outfits like the Trump Organization or Walmart attract a lot of legal action

You dip shits need to refute the story or shut the fuck up.

It's already been refuted, you stupid fuck.

Donald Trump is a separate entity, completely from his re-election campaign.

Trump, despite the idiocy of the OP, is not responsible for the debts incurred by his campaign. That's just not how it works.

Now, run along. You're boring...

Larry Walters
The owner of a Las Vegas-based drapery business, Walters was contracted to supply Trump's hotel in the city. Trump's company, however, demanded Walters provide additional work beyond the original contract. When Walters resisted, refusing to hand over some fabric that was in dispute, "sheriff's deputies burst into his factory after Trump Ruffin sued him. Trucks took the fabric away," the WSJ's Alexandra Berzon reports.

Walters claims he never had similar disputes in the past and an investigation of local court records backs him up. The final outcome? Under threat of prolonged litigation Walters settled for $380,000 less than he says he was owed.

Forest Jenkins

In 1988 Jenkins was the hardworking entrepreneur who was was thrilled to secure a large contract to install toilet partitions in Trump's Atlantic City casino. Unfortunately for Jenkins, the casino filed for bankruptcy just two years after opening. "After years of fighting through bankruptcy court, the Jenkins ended up with just 30 cents on the dollar. Their company was owed $231,000, according to the bankruptcy claim filed in the case. The Jenkins family received $70,000," reports CNN (follow the link for a video segment on the story).

Edward J. Friel
Friel was another small business owner initially thrilled by the prospect of supplying Trump's first Atlantic City casino with cabinets for slot machines. But after the job was both completed and approved, Friel tells CNN, Trump refused to make the final payment, meaning Friel made no profit on the deal.

Continued.
The Atlantic City casino industry went down the toilet. Bankruptcy is a fact of life in a volatile industry.

He built his cheesy Casino on the wrong side of the tracks and mismanaged it when he got bored.

Atlantic City tumbled after PA, MD,Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia all got legal casinos. Not President Trump's fault.

..he's got more $$$ and sex than you
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAH
The fact remains he hasn't arranged to pay the bill. That reflects the fraudulence of the republicans in general. Yet if the democrats did it you would be wanting blood.

Why would Trump pay a bill he doesn't owe?

Just because a city may have incurred expenses because a political candidate holds an event there, doesn't give them the authority to send them a legitimate bill for the expense.

This is a political stunt, that's why the city sent the bill to a collection agency instead of actually suing the President. And the collection agency isn't making any effort either

You go to visit a friend that is staying in a hotel in a city where neither of you live. A week after the visit you get a bill from the city, charging you for the hotel you never stayed in, the cops who patrolled the area outside the hotel, and the meals at the hotel where you never ate. That is just like what Trump's campaign is dealing with!

A "charity" that pays nothing to actual charitable causes?

I remember paying for "date nights" for the kenyan lawn jockey and its beard of a wife (Micheal).... and them taking separate planes to Hawaii for vacays.... that was several orders of magnitude more expensive than a few nights in a desert shitstain....

Let's just say karma is a mother fucker....
