I love when there is a big anti-DEM story and when I look it up at a satanic webpages...it is not even mentioned.

I wonder if this will make to The Atlantic, Huffpost, etc.

Obama-era intelligence agency directors insisted on including the now-discredited Steele Dossier in the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russia’s influence over the 2016 election despite their analysts’ warnings, according to a June review of the ICA from the Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) Directorate of Analysis (DA).

Then CIA-head John Brennan was integral in shoehorning the now-discredited Steele Dossier into the ICA, according to the review.

...The 2017 ICA concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought “to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability” and had a “clear preference for President-elect Trump.”

...The review of the ICA was commissioned by current CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who claimed that it painted a clear picture that Obama-appointed intel heads were trying to damage President Trump.

So, a guy appointed by Trump is saying that Obama was bad?

Hmm....

Wow, could you imagine if any of that were true?

Why would it?

There is nothing noteworthy here.

The story falsely claims that the Steele “Dossier” was the cause of the Russia investigation. This was never true. but Trumpsters still try and hide behind the lie.

The conclusion “that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought “to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability” and had a “clear preference for President-elect Trump.”. Is correct.

Nor is it challenged in any way by this. The facts are well established and extensively documented.

Yeah! Sure wish the CIA actually did something to hurt his win by telling us citizens something about Trump that could have hurt him before the election...but Nada, Nothing, Zip was done by the CIA to hurt Trump's chances!

While the FBI/Comey worked their hardest to publicly harm Hillary before the election....

That’s what makes these periodic revivals of right wing denials over the cooperation between the the Russians and the Trump campaign.

Had any of the known facts come out in October of 2016, Trump would have probably been sunk.

How Obama Admin Turned ‘Unverifiable’ Report Into Russiagate Dynamite

24 Jul 2025 ~~ By Paul Sperry

The Obama intelligence community’s claim that Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized dirty tricks to try and help Donald Trump win the 2016 election was based on "one scant, unclear and unverifiable fragment of a sentence from one of the substandard [intelligence] reports," according to a just-declassified report that had been locked away in a CIA vault.

Nevertheless, former CIA Director John Brennan ordered agency analysts to use the claim in the Intelligence Community Assessment issued during the Obama administration’s final days – even though the ICA itself noted that how the information on Putin's plans was obtained was “not explicitly clear.”
A 46-page report by the House of Representatives released Wednesday found that the source of the claim about Putin – reportedly a Russian defector living in Northern Virginia described as “anti-Trump” – merely speculated to Brennan about something he had been told by somebody else: namely, that Putin was "counting on" Trump winning.

Commentary:
What we do know is, Hilary Clinton had immediately before this time, as US Secretary of State, waived objection to Russia buying US yellow cake resources (uranium), had tried with her silly "Reset" button to gain a positive relationship with Putin; while Obama had refused to sell lethal anti tank weapons to Ukraine in the Crimea war. Putin, if for no other reason, had history with Hillary that she was an easily managed US politician. Knowing of Trump's confrontive and nationalistic rhetoric would have been clear indications that Putin preferred Hillary winning. Why don't these articles mention the obvious; that Putin would have never worked to enable Trump winning?
Then there's the Perkin-Coie LLC connection to the Hillary campaign and Marc Elias fromer partner at P.C. LLC.
