CNN —
The Central Intelligence Agency on Tuesday became the first major national security agency to offer so-called buyouts to its entire workforce, a CIA spokesperson and two other sources familiar with the offer said, part of President Donald Trump’s broad effort to shrink the federal government and shape it to his agenda.

This seems more than fair. If it is the same package offered to other federal workers, it is very generous.

Scoop: 20,000 federal workers take "buyout" so far, official says

This will no longer be Peter Stzrok’s FBI, nor John Brennen’s CIA.

Time for the partisan rats to leave the ship. Not because it’s sinking but because rats will no longer be allowed to chew holes in the hull while getting fat in the galley stores.

Bye-bye traitors!

Try being private detectives for divorce lawyers or slip-and-fall scammers.

Other agencies are also being offered buyout but as of last week (talking to a friend) they are not sure if their medical coverage will still be available for purchase after the Sept. date as accepting the buyout seems (as of last week) to be self-termination with no insurance offered for purchase after that date.

No big deal to the youngins but a huge deal for long time employees.

LOL.....Hey, if the youngins bail they will have enough to pay on their student loans. ;)

I think you can still get cobra if you quit.

But if that’s not a good option for them, they are welcome to stay and work hard at the office on behalf of the agenda that the American people elected dropped to enact.

Wise move

Trump doesn’t need intelligence

Trump has more intelligence in his little finger than most libs have overall.

But the intelligence sector in the US has been fucked up, and that's why Tulsi Gabbard is the new sheriff in town and ready to clean house.

My friend is nearing retirement in May so it needs to be well defined considering his 26 years of service.

Basically this is an offer to move old driftwood out of the agency.

Most people who are near retirement, been around too long and/or believe they have values that don't mix with the CIA end objective may opt to take a package and cash out a bit earlier. The CIA can then replace with a traditional focus on global influencing for American interests, especially economical and not political agendas or virtue signalling.

As I was thinking about this revelation I had to consider one peculiar circumstance as I still have so many questions about all of the assets that went dark in China this many years later (some say it was an electronic hack from someone who used a laptop overseas but that's just a theory). This is a mystery that needs to be solved by someone, somewhere. I'm sure the U.S have theories but it was a horrible failure and it occurred during Obamas term which I'm sure he isn't proud of.

No traitor giving information to the enemy would opt to take the early package right? Sorry, even in my poor health my brain cycles to these situations. I despise traitors and would love to be one of those counter-intel agents trying to catch them. Perhaps this narrows down the list by a couple of potential suspects, I don't know.

I'd focus on people from NY and/or California first if I were a betting man. I'd love to read a story in which the CIA solved this mystery and held someone accountable, it did great harm to the U.S.

Yes, Cobra is an option but expensive.....

Is that where he got the idea to build casinos in Gaza?

Right.

There’s also the option of simply getting another job, which is what the rest of us do if we lose one job. There’s also the option of staying on at the CIA and working on behalf of Trump’s vision of America.

If they would rather go without medical coverage then do that, that is their choice.

Getting several months pay without having to work would be a good deal if that wasn’t how things were already going for most of them — without the time limit.
Yes, there will be some die hard who won’t see the train coming. They will believe that they can sit by their pool occasionally answering emails and the checks will keep coming indefinitely.

What would you suggest building in Gaza instead?

Trump is a developer by trade and training and sees tremendous opportunity.

Right now, Gaza is a shit hole.

But the Donald can see beyond that current reality and see what's possible.

Imagine staying at a 5 star resort right on the Mediterranean, with tremendous gaming and other opportunities right there? Such a venue could attract people from all over that growing region

How much, the link won't open for me?

Who authorized these buyouts? What are the terms? They’d be stupid to accept without a lot more detail.
