I myself am very suspicious of the Russian Orthodox Church for reasons that go back before Putin's arrival.

None of these latest developments give me any reason to let down my guard. "Holy war," yeah right. Since when did Russia ever care about the plight of Christians in other nations? Ukraine anybody?

Remember '***** Riot?' Most of the free world was on their side and not the Russian govt or the Russian Orthodox church.
