I presume that the Church of England teaches that sins can be forgiven, and with the grace of God, one can amend one's life, rejecting the sinful patterns of the past.

It is a wonder how this sort of things to on and there is no mention of the actions of the civil Authorities. If the priest in question has committed crimes, and they can be proven, how could he be reassigned to another position? Why is he not in jail? Seriously.
