In America, and Canada, the Sunday after Easter is the Feast of the Divine Mercy.

Today is the Feast of St. Rita of Cascia, patron Saint of the Impossible. She was a stigmatist with a wound in the middle of her forehead from a thorn, resembling Christ's wounds from the Crown of Thorns.
