Politics is a rough sport, sport.
You don't have to tell me, junior. But let's not try to make it look like this private citizen looked bad in an interview when the interviewer was talking over her and putting words in her mouth, which is O'Donnell's m.o. by the way.
Then he learned from Sean and Rush, so tough luck. What, no, that is not what happened. She looked look a doofus because she did not know what she was talking about. She did not know the issues. She was typical of the shari'a right of American politics, and she got hammered.

This man simply practiced his legal rights in an attempt to make the point that our liberties are in danger, and that this healthcare "reform" is simply another assault on them. I especially liked how Matthews tried to peg him as a birther and unhinged because of his gun and sign.
And unless I'm much mistaken the protestor is wearing a shirt promoting the Free State Project.
Free State Project Home [ Free State Project - Liberty in Our Lifetime ]
Lawrence O'Donnell interviewed another protestor last night and that poor woman couldn't answer any questions but she sure had a bunch of constitutional questions she was reading off at the protest.
O'Donnell took pity on her and said that this is something that she doesn't normally do so he just let her go. It was really uncomfortable to watch her struggle.
These protestors are being used, they should understand this.
O'Donnell is a bully. I assume this is the video you're talking about.

perhaps your side of the fence should stop waffling on the rhetoric. His point is clear: Are you ready to repeal it or not? Why the hell should this woman get the plush glove treatment if she's willing to actively participate in shouting down a politician? Is critical thinking a bit more difficult than reading a tlaking point off of a fucking note card?

Yeah, he was pretty nice to her at the end when everyone could see she was clueless about everything but what had been written for her at the protest.. He's got an edge, he's been in this business a long time but even he couldn't stand to watch her suffer so.
Palin wannabe.
The point is these people don't even know what they are protesting for the most part.

Why would he want to have learned from Sean or Rush? And that is exactly what happened. He talked over her and tried to twist her positions.

Yes, it is. Getting up in front of a crowd with a notecard is hard enough, a lot of people don't like public speaking. You could tell she was nervous being on a national news show without any notecards and with the host talking over her and putting words in her mouth.

An edge? He bullied a woman who has never been on a news show before. Granted he was better with her than he was with Peter Schiff, but he still used the same tactics to bully her and try to make her look bad.

How do you figure? He asked about a SPECIFIC single payer insurance option that we already have and correctly defined it as socialism according to your sides' definition. Again, WHY does this woman need to be pampered when she had the balls to step up to the plate in the first place? Should she be thrown slow, stike zone pitches just because she is incapable of consistency?
I swear.. it's like hanging out with a bunch of fucking Theatre majors.

You probably don't want to say things like that out here in public. I am like the Fucking ***** Vader of this forum. too much more of that talk and you'll be wearing a scarlet A before you even know why.
Really, guys? ***** is a blocked word? D-A-R-T-H? wtf?

She sure didn't seem to have a problem shouting down Spector... When did notecards become a substitution for being able to make your point? Especially when she has the balls to make an ass of herself during Spector's presentation?
And, again, no one put words in her mouth. He made a specific point about ANOTHER gov program that your kind would label socialism and she balked. Tell me, are YOU ready to scrap medicaid? Don't let me put words in your mouth by identifying it as a similarly socialized government option.

She didn't shout down Specter, she shouted at him. He wasn't talking.
Not over night I'm not. You've got too many people dependent on it now. But I'd certainly support getting gradually off Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

um.. what do you expect a poltiican to do when they ARE BEING SHOUTED AT? Had he spoken back your kind would say he was instigating an arguement. The fact is that she threw down a gauntlet and came off looking like a silly ass when prompted to expand upon her opinions sans note card.
Now, did you require a notecard to answer that? I vehemently disagree, especially in your capitalist one winner and many losers utopia, but see how easy that was?

I believe it was her time to speak and ask her question at the time. I seriously doubt she was allowed to interrupt the Senator at his town hall event.
No, it didn't require a notecard for me. You also didn't shout over me and try to force the position on me, you simply asked me whether I supported it or not.
