Chinese warships make 'unusual' voyage near US ally Australia

For a reference to what is considered a blue water navy for those not familiar with the term (I know the previous responders are, just for future people in this thread)

Blue-water navy - Wikipedia

They have been working on a blue water navy for over a decade now. First they bought western ships, now they are cloning them.

Actually yes, yes I did. They clone everything.

Russian/Soviet cast-offs probably.

Those are technically "Western" but Italy currently makes better ships.
No, they were buying new build ships from France and Germany.

Seems to me this is just another case of "Look what we can do when you're not shooting at us."

The internet has nothing of the sort. China protested German ships passing through the straits of Formosa not long ago. I am thinking perhaps Taiwan bought ships?
This was over 15 years ago.

September, 2024 doesn't seem like 15 years ago. Why not admit you f-ed up and slink away quietly?

Because I didn't, idiot. Amazing enough the internet doesn't give you everything you want. The censor a lot. Especially google.

So, you assume because Google didn't find it using your terms, they fucked up?
