Chinese thugs beat up protstor at consulate. Conservative govt does nothing

lol, who would be outspoken? The Labour Party?

The U.K is no longer the global player it once was. Sadly, you've been dragging the U.S down with you for years, all because your own intel agents were about as loyal as a hooker on a Saturday night.

Shocking scenes.Just shows how the importance of saving trus is more important than actually running the country.
Legally the Consulate is the territory of China. Not matter who is running the British government there isn't much they can do but offer a "strongly worded" rebuke .

Taking uniformed pop shots at Conservatives because you don't like their politics makes you look stupid.

Wrong!

The US/UK alliance is the most critical for US success on their march to uncontested global super power. The US has granted the UK power in return for it's loyalty. The UK automatically signs on to all US led wars now.

And also fwiw, the police have narrowed it down on how you'll be charged for your criminal behaviour that got you in trouble to start with.

No, you're not allowed to pull people from the street into consulate grounds and beat them.

There is a lot that can be done. Even if the perpetrators have diplomatic immunity, the UK can make a request that they be expelled, or make other moves like recall their ambassador for talks.

You don't have a problem with the Chinese doing this?

The so-called allied who pretended to be democratic and free nations but have operated covert police states have harmed the U.S greatly, including Canada. Not only have they spread their undermining policing tactics by osmosis, they have betrayed their global reputation.

You couple this with poor Western leadership across ALL Western nations, their corporations and we have the weakened socity we have now, whereas after the Berlin Wall fell and Russia collapsed, the U.S was the sole, undisputed super power of the world. Her own allies resented this.
