Not a wise decision, especially when we know the threat that is being posed. Canada has already lost great leverage with global allies, I think Canada is wagering that Biden is going to win, so they are doing all of this believing the next government will give Canada their blessing.

But most I meet on the streets are gun hating big government types.

And like you pointed out, while most of the West is moving away from China equipment, they do this.
