China is going to win by using a multi-pronged approach.

Those who have been wrong about everything for the last 30 years wonder how it all unfolded.

Russia and China are also holding a second military games.

We are all to blame. Though the "experts" have been far more wrong than I have (or any average citizen)...

China slapped new export controls on a batch of minerals such as antimony – vital for the U.S. defense industry as a flame-retardant component used in machine bearings – in a move that could send prices in the defense sector soaring.

The little-known metal antimony is used in ammunition, infrared missiles, nuclear weapons and night vision goggles, as well as batteries and photovoltaic equipment. China produced nearly half of the world’s antimony last year.

The limits, which kicked in on Sunday, apply to six antimony-related products, including antimony ore, antimony metals and antimony oxide.

We keep slapping more and more tariffs on them, what do you expect?

They happen to be the lucky country sitting on the largest sources of it.

Seems it might be prudent to find an alternative material

We've Barely Scratched the Surface of Earth's Deep Bonanza

Geology is a very undeveloped science. I'm sure there is plenty of antimony in America if we encouraged High IQs to advance this science, which now is at the level of alchemy. If you don't pay students, you get what you pay for.

For example, they can't detect petroleum, only give an educated guess of where it might be.

China did the same shit years ago with rare earth elements. The move backfired.

While the Ukraine doesn't have antimony, it has other rare earth minerals, especially in... wait for it... the east of the country that Russia is controlling......

And you thought the war didn't matter.

I never said the war didn't matter. Those who are invaded by an enemy force looking to take their lives and land must fight back and be supported in this fight.

I believe war in general is hell and useless to us as a species. There will always be an aggressor and a defender of course.

Let Taiwan and the Ukraine Go Back to Where They Belong

Why should the Chinese help our military, with all the Cold War nostalgics pounding on the war drums, like squaws who never have to fight.

I know. Change "Taiwan" back to its original name, Formosa. That's what the Illiterate Liberal Language Lords do when they want us to forget history and only think New Age. Well, we can do the same in the MAGA Age.

Either confront them and show them who is the boss or China will confront you and tell you the CCP is the boss. That is China's current mentality.
