You belittle the progress made by the Syrian Army with support from the Russians and act like defeating ISIS is some kind of a contest between the US and the Russians. How old are you?

That little bit of highway is the main ISIS supply route out of Turkey en route to Raqqa. It is not insignificant, especially if the Syrians can move North along the river and control the border region. Why would you not applaud this?

The point that you seem to want to ignore is that when we look at the conflict since Russia has intervened, a few short months ago, we can see an easily identifiable strategy from the Russians to defeat the enemy. Something that has been lacking from the Obama administration over the course of years........ and that is to say the least. Obama is entirely too interested in defeating Assad, otherwise he would have long ago closed the supply routes coming thru Turkey.
