Chiefs vs Bucs: Monday Night Football 11/4

The Bucs should have gone for the two point conversion instead of the point after at the end of regulation

That was so weak of TB to just tie the game! Reminds me of a Cowboys/Vikings MNF! Green decided to tie just before time ran out in regulation! Dallas got the ball 1st in OT & on the first play Emmitt Smith ran for a 65 Yd. TD! Gutless on Green's part! The Boys were still pretty good back then! :meow::stir::dunno::oops:

I'm not sure I like the OT rules--- it essentially enters a huge element of LUCK into the game. If you are LUCKY enough to win the coin flip, and if you march down to score a TD first, the other team never even gets a chance to play. GAME OVER.

Bottom line is that the Bucs should have tried for 2 points instead of kicking that FG, but apparently didn't feel confident in their doing so. They gambled on LUCK in OT.

It happened to Mahomes vs Brady way back when! It happens! It's not fair, but it's the rule! :meow:

The Chiefs really haven't played all that great this year as in past seasons, they've been pretty lucky so far that things just worked out for them.
The case can be made that Detroit is a better team.
Maybe luck counts for something in the NFL.

The problem is Detroit's never sniffed a Super Bowl! When they were good & had a great chance to get to their 1st 30 yrs. ago, they were annihilated by a backup QB on Phili; Pete! Mitchell must have thrown 6 interceptions and had the nerve to ask "why" when replaced in the 3rd quarter! They were down 51-7 at one time before being out out of their misery 58-37! :D:abgg2q.jpg::stir::dunno:

Yes but bad rules are meant to be changed and I don't like the new OT rules. The OT should continue on as a FIFTH quarter without a coin flip contiguously and just play out the 15 minutes. Ever who is winning then is the winner, or it remains a tie.

Trying to eliminate a tie, that's what's done; an entire 5th Qtr. being played! It happens; a tie! :dunno:

Lousy coin toss rule. If Bucs would have won the coin toss, they would have won the game.

Even still, they put up a good fight to tie the game, and put it into overtime, against the Super Bowl champs, and only NFL undefeated team this year. And that was without their top 2 receivers (Mike Evans & Chris Godwin).

24 to 24 in Regulation time.
30 to 24 Chiefs win in Overtime.
The Lions will pull an Eli Manning and break the perfect season in the Super Bowl. The Lions will want it more.

You want to giv3 the other team a chance to score a td too. Makes sense.

Another tough loss for Bucs and Jags this Sunday. Both played tough against 49ers and Vikings.

At some point it can’t be luck anymore. When you’re “lucky” every week it’s not “luck”.

I just saw KC squeaked by 16-14! A tough win over the Broncos! Div. rival game so it makes sense! It was what's called "a trap game!" It was Denver's best chance to upset the Chiefs! :meow: :dunno:

I could care less who won, but something looked fishy on the Left side of the line. Sure looked like the Chiefs were offside, you don't put linemen flat on their back like that on a normal play.

Cope and haterade it’s a bad combo.

Who’s the Chiefs fan?

I go back to the days of Marty Schottenheimer! Those were great days back in the 90's along w/ my other fave, The Buffalo Bills! Marty was about as unlucky as it gets in the playoffs going back to his days in Cleveland! :stir::oops::dunno:

Marty never learned to kill his opponent. His strategy of getting a small lead and then going into a shell playing not to lose is let one that’s going to win championships.
