People cut down on the number of cigs they bought, and many quit entirely. As a result, the funds collected didn't match up to lib projections.

This is similar. Cigarette taxes cut the amount of cigarette smoking, just like taxes on success reduce the amount of success in a jurisdiction.

I smoked when they were $2, when they became $8 in my area, I reduced, then quit.

And of course not EVERY wealthy person will move, but certainly some will.

Also, if they do not move physically, they will take financial steps to reduce their tax burden.

Most did not become wealthy by being dipshits.

Bingo. With a 6% approval rating you can bet with a guaranteed win that if he is replaced at all it would be with another Democrat. It's not really Brandon Johnson's approval rating. It is a rating of democrat policies, voters are just too stupid to realize that though.
