Chicago Democrat Wacky La Shawn Ford calls for abolishing history classes & the removal of history books. He claims they cause white privilege/racism

no way. history is a good thing! Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas was fascinated by American history. that's how he decided to run for office!

How does learning history.... create white privilege?

Can someone explain the logic there? Does knowing history gain you privilege? How? I haven't been offered a promotion yet, for knowing what happened in 1776, or 1812.
Has anyone gained privilege from knowing history? Please explain what privilege you gained?

You will learn who the great philosophers were. Who invented the great inventions. Who made the great discoveries. Who made the great explorations. They were all white men.

Don’t you see ??
They’re trying to erase all European history just like the famous book called Fahrenheit 451

Ironically, my position is the opposite. Certain common history textbook publishers, such as Simon and Schuster, deliberately publish history texts which are devoid of any suffering of the white race throughout history, even to the point of painting white revenge for wrongs committed agaisnt them as if the white race was the first aggressor. A typical Simon and Schuster history textbook will, for example, skip over the death march that Native Americans forced colonists to take to Canada after the 1704 Raid on Deerfield, and will leave out that Native Americans assisted the British in the Revolutionary War (even though this complaint is written out in the Declaration of Independence). They will even leave out that the Cherokee tribe cheifs agreed to and accepted payment of $5 million as well as a grant of new land in Oklahoma, but the textbook will cover the Trail of Tears that killed those Cherokee who still refused to leave. In other words, the Trail of Tears is portrayed as though it was the first act of aggression because it was committed by the white race. The color of the aggressor is very important to a Simon and Schuster history textbook. They even removed the entire story of Pocahontas, so prevalent in history textbooks before Simon and Schuster got involved, merely because Captain John Smith had been enslaved in his youth in Constantinople by invading Muslim Turks. Smith killed his cruel master and then fled to America. If the aggressor is nonwhite and the victim white, Simon and Schuster textbooks won't mention what occurred.

While some think it's because Simon and Schuster are Jewish and want the Holocaust to appear to follow a long history of white racism, it's actually other Jewish scholars, such as David Horowitz of Penn State University, that have been some of the first to openly and publicly call them out for it. In response to one of Simon and Schuster's history books, "Lies My Teacher Told Me", being adopted as a sole textbook at Penn State University, Horowitz published a letter declaring the history inside as "a reflection of extreme, uninformed, polemical views". Further, though that book was published by Simon and Schuster, the actual author, James Loewen, was any ol' leftist gentile white man. Why Loewen wants everyone to hate white men is hard to understand, but Loewen's book claims white men were the first to commit all sorts of global atrocities that Horowitz points out existed long before white men got involved, either as victims or aggressors. Even the word "slave" comes from the word "Slav", an ethnicity of whites that were enslaved longer and more frequently throughout human history than any other ethnicity.

white Christians used to lynch blacks on Saturday night and then go to church on Sunday morning

that's part of America's history too, my friends

Lynchings were generally speedy trials for violent criminals after the carpetbaggers from the North invaded the South post Civil War in an effort to fuck with the justice system, which is the opposite of how Hollywood and the establishment fake Education system portrays it.

As indicated the history of Whites is the Western World which is Civilization, Music, Art, Language, Science, everything. The history of Blacks is basically Blacks selling Blacks to other Blacks or Arabs and killing ones they were not able to sell. Blacks never created anything in their home environment.

Anyone wacked out enough to think history causes White privilege and racism is dangerous enough to propose White extermination camps. No wonder college kids think they're doing good when they burn and loot their own towns. Colleges are mass producing idiots.

a quote from Ben “Pitchfork” Tillman in 1876, he led a white paramilitary gang that murdered six innocent African Americans in the Hamburg Massacre. “We have done our level best...We have scratched our heads to find out how we could eliminate the last one of them. We stuffed ballot boxes. We shot them. We are not ashamed.”

This dark piece of history is a reminder of where South Carolina has been and why we need to change it. start by tearing down his statue

TEAR IT DOWN! TEAR IT DOWN! TEAR IT DOWN! TEAR IT DOWN!

HISTORY FOLKS DON'T KNOW...

in just 4 years, George HW Bush passed more legislation than any president in history...except FDR and LBJ

from the Economist:

"War heroes no longer dominate American politics as they once did.

Ten of the first 11 post-war presidents were veterans. Between 1965 and 1975, seven out of every ten members in both the House of Representatives and the Senate had served in the armed forces.

Although veterans remain over-represented in politics today—they make up 7% of the adult population but nearly three times that share of Congress—their numbers have dwindled over the years.

Veterans in Congress are now comfortably outnumbered by lawyers, bankers and businesspeople, having dwarfed those professions three decades ago.

Joe Biden’s choice of Kamala Harris as his running-mate means that no presidential or vice-presidential candidate in the three elections from 2012 to 2020 will have had any military service at all. "
