Chicago and Blacks During Lockdown

There has been a lot in the media about blacks being more vulnerable to the Chinese virus. Maybe here is a reason the media never covers:

On Tuesday, April 7 alone, 21 people were shot — including a 5-year-old girl sitting outside a Southside residence. Seven were killed; one victim was a 27-year-old woman who police believe was hit by a stray bullet. It was the single worst shooting day this year in Chicago.

Since Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced a stay-at-home order for the state that went into effect on March 21, there have been over 80 shootings and at least 70 shooting victims, according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD). In the same period at least 12 people have died.
