I knew it. I've expected this for years. For one thing, I think Web Hubbell is her father. They have been grooming her for years for politics, because, let's face it, what kind of real job can Chelsea get? Mom and Dad will be gone one of these days then she's shit outta luck.

This way, she can be a crooked NY politician too, sustain the feeling of there being an "elite political class" of people, and she can earn her fortune of millions just like her mom, dad, Nancy, and Ilhan Omar did.

Again I've followed the Clintons since they were in government in Arkansas and Hillary's benefit job at Rose Law Firm--we have lots of Arkansas kinfolk. I was active and paying attention in politics all of the Clinton years in New York and Washington DC. I know all the provable scandals from Whitewater, the sex stuff, the sketchy Clinton Foundation, and all the conspiracy theories re the mysterious deaths etc. etc. etc.

But absolutely none of that has any bearing whatsoever on what sort of politician Chelsea is or would be.

You're right. Chelsea is picking NY state for altruistic reasons knowing her mother was senator there, after living in the Clinton family, raised by the Clintons, and being groomed and trained all her life for an eventual career in politics because lets face it, she's good for nothing else now but to latch onto the political coattails that her parents built through murder and corruption in order to continue to milk the political system for her wreath.

You're right. Okay I'm not an apologist for Chelsea Clinton or her parents, not even close. But I am a former journalist and still intensely interested in media, it's benefits and misuse. And being accurate. I would rather be intellectually honest and report truth than be popular I guess.

Chelsea has been accused of all sorts of malfeasance on the internet, especially via social media, but there seems to be little or no proof for any of it. She is purported to have a net worth of millions earned via board memberships--her name no doubt does make her popular on various boards--speaking fees, book deals and such.

Is any of her income illicit or criminal? I don't know, but I can't find any evidence for that. I do find a lot of mostly mean spirited and unsubstantiated rightwing propaganda and speculation that in my opinion doesn't make our side look good any more than that sort of thing make the other side look good.

The reports are that neither Chelsea or her parents receive any compensation from being on the Clinton Foundation board or their other 'charities.' Now we can all raise eyebrows re that and speculate that they have ways to profit but without proof it is just that. Speculation.

Chelsea has lived in New York State long enough to legitimately claim residency there and run for office--far longer than her mother could claim when she ran for office there.

So let's wait for honest criticism and verifiable facts to accuse her. I couldn't support her because of her known political views. For now that is sufficient for me to hope she is not elected to any high level office in New York or the federal government.
