Good for him. He might not have been a very good cop, maybe even a bad one, and he probably should have paid closer attention to Floyd, but the evidence does not support him as the primary or sole cause of Floyd's death nor do I believe he intended Floyd to die. It was just one of those bad things that happens sometimes where you make a total ass of yourself fighting with police resisting arrest.

Chauvin was scapegoated. He followed procedure on the wrong criminal. He had other cops with him who were not concerned as if anything wrong was occurring.
