The biggest take I got out of this is how people on both side, using the media, (MSM and social) are the tools of division. To create tribes and to pit them against one another. To create loyalty amongst the people for one side or the other.
And to push every political envelope to the very edge of decency and respect.

Those of us who are politically independent, look at the loyalty on both sides and just shake our heads. When we try to point it out, both sides attack us for not being as loyal as they are. For not picking a side.

There's so much misinformation on social media, it kind of needs to be restricted. That goes for the MSM also.
But in the same token, the only one that can restrict the misinformation is the government. Which is also guilty of spreading misinformation.
