He comes from a middle class family, with two stable Married parents in a midsized home, both parents being registered Republicans, in a majority white community, of a conservative Red State, with excellent skiing, that looks like God's country in the winter.

I knew I had seen something about the father being a cop, but never found it again, only the info of running a construction business or working in the construction/contracting industry.
Not that the committed Republican Father had anything to do with it, but undoubtedly tells us where he got his marksmanship training, which probably started as hunting skill. I have seen a bunch of marksmen, even sharpshooters miss a 200 meter target on a no stress controlled range firing line, but this asshole hit his mark, meaning controlled breathing and technique in a high stress moment. Hopefully, he will never be out in society again.
