I had a hard time trying to figure out who in a Navy uniform I should salute... so whenever I was indoors and there were Navy personnel walking around I would remove my cover so I didn't have to salute... lol even when I had a duty belt on.... I'm sure there were guys who said did that Marine just call me sir...

The problem here is that I was talking to a moderator. Everything you right-wingers claim the left does is a confession. You guys are the ones who are un-American. It's really easy. Dress blue's and white's cover has a gold chin strap. The rank insignia on the other uniforms for officers were the same as for Marines.

No, there needs to be a catalyst for positive action. The catalyst is not always positive, sometimes it takes children dying in school shootings to provoke action.
