Maybe so, but I would think decent people would at least allow those of us still in mourning to pay our last respects in peace. No decency evident in those who dont intend to allow us that small blassing. Again I can't imagine anything more vile than deliberately denigrating those attending a memorial service or trying to keep us from participating in that.

It is a wonderful service and decent people would leave us alone at least long enough for that closure.

People have flown in from across the country to attend...People are giving accounts of planes to Phoenix being primarily filled with those hoping to get in.

Going to be an immense day of mourning, celebration, and faith.

What "hate"?
Pointing out the man's faults and toxic beliefs isn't hate.

While it sad that he was killed. That doesn't mean how he lived can't be criticized.
You righties are ready to canonize this man. And he wasn't really the good Christian you make him out to be.

I feel sorriest for his children on this day.
And sad for the fact that those of you on the right hand side of the spectrum are largely responsible for bringing us to this point.

And a bevy of organized hateful show up not to pay their last respects or support you in your grief, but to list all theiperceived sins the deceased ever committed, ridicule and denigrate the deceased and all of you mourning that person you loved and/or cared for. I'm not sure what analogy you're trying to make here. The closest one I can think of is the Westboro Baptist church's "God Hates Fags" showing up at funerals. And I believe the right wing tacitly approved of those "protests".

And I'll point out, this isn't a funeral. It's a memorial service that has been turned into something it shouldn't be...a political cudgel.

I have never ever seen anything like this.

The Left had career criminal George Floyd, followed by days of mobs, riots, looting and more crime.

We had Charlie Kirk, who had Jesus Christ. We are peaceful, and we are praying.

The Right and the Left are not the same, nor even close.
