Changing my picture logo

I think it was about 30 years ago that I started posting in the most primitive online boards.
They offered very little in the way of editing capabilities so whatever spelling or grammar errors you made you had to live with.

Sock puppets was a big thing when the board's first opened up because they really didn't have a way to detect them. You had to log in and log out multiple times to get away with it and sooner or later you screwed up and posted something under the wrong Monica that gave you away.

Some of my initial reactions from people that I posted to were very negative because I do tend to be an asshole. I'm aware of it I try to temper it but sometimes it just gets the best of me.

One poster in particular wrote me a strong rebuke telling me over and over again that I was just awful.

It occurred to me that being an asshole such as I was, that embracing the accusation would be a great way to distinguish myself. So with a quick spell change I came up with the name Justoffal.

Of course that could also refer to a pile of rotting animal innards... Either way it enhances the reputation.

The new Moniker picture replacing the Neanderthal man is a newly discovered species of human that supposedly lived 300,000 years ago in northern China. I think It is sufficiently primitive enough to express the negative side of my persona.
