When Nixon abandoned the gold correlation to the dollar unit he set the 70 year death clock in motion. All fiat currencies usually die out within a century of being created. Telling them you're going to protect the 2A, and don't. Drain the swamp, cut government spending, bring back millions of jobs, etc etc etc. And don't do any of that.

But still get re elected.

I'm not sure what's happened to my Republican party. But it's looking exactly like the democrat party now days. Especially the part where GOP voters aren't holding their elected officials accountable for anything.

P.S. Trumps dream come true is going to be to totally eliminate the debt ceiling. He's already suspended it for 2 years. He and Pelosi LOVED that.

Excellent point.... Democrats don't even tell the truth to their own followers. I think some of that hurt them in the past election. They have become so used to using the lie and false perception as a tool to get what they want They forgot that sometimes it can bite you in the ass.

The only way to correct this is for GOP voters to stop electing these RINO's and only support fiscal conservatives. (Chip Roy, Thomas Massie, Rand Paul and a few others). But it seems Trump is trying to take out those who are fiscally responsible. And his supporters are helping him.

Last week, Trump called for Chip Roy to be primaried, because Roy wanted legit spending cuts in the CR that just passed.

That reminds me of Beohner kicking Justin Amash off the congressional budget committee for trying to balance the budget.
