Did you feel the same way about Cliven Bundy? Remember him, wasn't he dependent upon something "free"?

But yeah, it is hard to feel bad for this farmer. Hundreds of cows? I mean I caught the rake on his tractor, he is raising hay. But that byproduct is grain. And he ain't milking those cows, he is just raising them to get them to market, as cheaply as possible, and free grain is a huge competitive advantage.

LOL....Bundy was more of a case of "when assholes collide".

My bet is "farmer john" is raising more beef cattle that his land would support otherwise without the free feed.

Yeah I know. One thing I discovered here in TN is that everyone used to vote Democrat up until Obama became president.
Many of them still vote for Democrats.

Absolutely, "hundreds" of head he said. Where are the tree huggers? I highly doubt this guy is looking for quality. He is running a feed-lot, make no mistake. Did you see those troughs? OMG. Gave me flash backs, to slopping the hogs, except these are cows, but that is about the only difference.
