Many serbs say that in northern europe they consider them 'balkan and etnic' is because they mistake gypsies for serbs
The liberal media indeed calls gypsies as serbian citizens or serbians but i think the average joe knows very well they are gypsies
my cousins in Germany said people think he is brasilian not serb never serb they dont present gypsies as serbs maybe someone like ceca some say she is a gypsy but to me its not clear whether she is really gypsy she was in the 90s a popular figure of serbian nationalism and married arkan (is ceca really gypsy)?
Edit: i myself was never guessed as serb but as kurd egyptian and persian
