If House Republicans cared for our welfare they would have elected Thomas Harold Massie as their SpeakerMassie should be replaced by an actual Republican.
Chip Roy is extreme fringe, but pragmatic.

Why not at least wait until he is in office and does something before you piss your Depends.

He is a fucking contrarian - bitch for bitching sakeI had no control over any of it.
I see that prior posters were right, you just want to bitch, you have no real solution.![]()
The subject is that you are upset that President Trump and 3% of Congress aren't authoritarian enough to force their positions on the rest.
When that is addressed, you deny it.

Your head has a screw loose. They're not authoritarian at all. And that's a good thing. Good changes should come with agreements. Not force.
You Trump supporters seem like y'all want Trump to force everything.
Your head has a screw loose.
Te debt "ballooned" because Democrats in Congress spent like drunken sailors, not because of tax cuts.No they didn't. That's why, under Reagan, we ended up with 4 tax increases & 17 debt ceiling increases, after this tax cuts. Conservatives were trying to keep the debt from ballooning. Back then, conservatives understood the damage that ballooning debt, borrowing too much money, would do to the value of the USD.
Since the GOP controlls both houses and the Oval...we’re going to see a budget passed this time, right? The only way I see us fixing (to some degree) our fiscal mess is to pass a FULL budget, meaning revenue AND spending, at the same time. And the only way to do that is for the two parties to work together, which they no longer have the capacity to do.
Sloganeering like "cut spending!" is always attractive and gets votes, but when it comes to getting down to business these people are more worried about getting re-elected. So we have to fix our electoral system, TOO.
Not holding my breath.
It's not numbers that determine what is "Fringe" but policy. The real extremists are people like Alexanderia Ocasio-Cortez.So, by your own account - 3%
The very definition of fringe.
Fringe - not part of the mainstream, unconventional, peripheral, or extreme.

Policies, like "The Green New Deal" are dangerously extreme. That's not true.
That should be one of the more interesting conversations.Since the GOP controlls both houses and the Oval...we’re going to see a budget passed this time, right?

Its almost as if they are afraid to be held responsible for the money they’re going to spend.Oh yeah. Suuuuuuure. Just like last time when they had the majority. Don't you remember? The budget was balanced, the national debt was lowered. The skies were sunny every day. And poor people rose out of poverty like Moses parted the red sea.![]()
Trump campaigned on cutting spending and the size of government. That's something that fiscal conservatives like Massie and Chip Roy have been doing since they were elected the first time. It's one of the biggest reasons why Trump was elected both times.
We all know that government spending is out of control. We know the size and scope of government is also out of control.
Just in the last month, Trump has threatened to get us involved in wars that have nothing to do with us. He's promised to created more government. He's gone from publicly supporting smaller, more transparent bills to now wanting a HUGE reconciliation bill with everything in it. "One big beautiful bill," as he calls it. One that's is already partially written and spends way more than the last one. The H1B can't go without being mentioned also. Supporting H1B's over American graduates.
Without focusing on one single issue/promise, can someone explain to me where the fiscally conservative Trump went to? Because he's not even in office yet and is already changing his stance on some important issues. This was supposed to be the new and improved Trump. But it seems like it's the same one that got elected in 2016.
