Communism as defined by many people these days is NOT a good thing
Even defined by others, it is rarely perceived as a good thing... We see the history of it.. all the millions... literally hundreds of millions of murders committed by Communists..
and yet today's Scripture reading was essentially a description of communism... Acts 4 something
It says that everyone sold what they had and it was re-distributed to all according to need.
What is wrong with using this psg to support encroaching communism (socialism... same deal) is that: These were CHURCH people, followers of Christ.. NOT politicians who couldn't care less about all the damage conventional communism does to nations, to people... to everyone.. except those in top govt positions..
All the leaders of communism, those who killed the aforementioned millions, were wealthy beyond belief.. while everyone else they ruled over was poor and needy.
I hate communism
But the Church could do it... Christians (the real ones) could do it...
the psg today said "There was not a needy person among them"
Today, we see what political communism does: Under the Dims and Rinos (and etc) we see VAST numbers of homeless people living in their cars... or tents...
