I can find no source for who runs this outfit. I've googled all over the place, and their website has no information about them.

Media matters slams on their shit, and probably with good cause. They come up with some pretty explosive shit. So who are these guys?

Are they basically the public's glimpse into what is going on in the inner circle's of the security state and the bureaucracy by whistle blowers who wish to remain anonymous? Or is it truth with a specious spin?
