If you're a fascist, you're right to worry about Antifa.
Antifa exists because the police failed to protect peaceful anti-fascist demonstrators from violent fascist counter-demonstrators. That reality doesn't excuse violence by anyone. But you can't stop the cart without getting ahold of the horse.
Right...the group whose slogan was punch a nazi, and then proceeded to call everyone else a nazi, accuse cops of being systemically hyper-racist to the point of murdering black people, constantly refers to capitalism, not fascism, as an oppressive system that needs to be overthrown, and oh yeah, a group that is responsible for dozens of riots, and hundreds of acts of violence already...clearly they’re not the ones starting the violence. Makes total sense. Good job left.
Well, you are only half assed. Violence begets violence, and there's no Bobby Kennedy today.
Here’s the left excusing a mob beating a middle aged mother with a 2x4. A cop started it so let’s repeatedly kick the head of an innocent person whose already unconscious. Let’s execute a black federal officer. Let’s burn the property of thousands of innocent people. Again thanks for proving our point.

Okay, so there likely some rioters with a far-left agenda. Republicans on here would say “duh” to that but it’s not like these rioters are taking surveys to confirm it. We need to break it down on who is doing the rioting. Of course, let’s not forget that MOST of the protests have been peaceful.

Many of them are black and are protesting police brutality. Now does that make them leftwing? Does it make them socialist? No, not necessarily. This is obviously over one particular issue so it doesn’t encompass the entire leftwing agenda.

Some of them (like the rightwing counterparts) are pushing for a political agenda. Perhaps they don’t like fascism and they don’t like Trump. Is that leftwing? Yes, but it doesn’t make automatically them Antifa now does it? I mean who were these people again? Does it even matter? No one has been killed in name of Antifa even if some have died in the name of general leftwing politics. Plenty of people have killed in the name of Trump and the rightwing of course.

Trump declaring Antifa a terrorist organization doesn’t make any goddamn sense because it’s not like the specific group is still relevant or has any central leadership. They sure as hell don’t have a headquarters. My point is, just because there are some leftwing rioters, it doesn’t somehow mean they are in the Antifa club. I mean that’s just fucking stupid. The rightwing is just desperate to make an equivalency of violence. They know they can’t defend the violent rise of white supremacy so they will come to any conclusion to vilify the left.

Don't know any ANTIFA people, so cant speak to how much violence they are actually responsible for.
I can say that they have been around since the 30s fighting Hitler. Kluklux clan, more recently skin heads & neo Nazis.
so am not ANTIFA but am anti fascist.

Antifa and fascist are like Al and Peg. You have no point besides Trump good.
There’s ZERO evidence of “fascist” starting any violence whatsoever, and near infinite that it’s ANTIFA being ANTIFA. They’ve been doing this for years now. This is beyond laughable that now, all of a sudden, they aren’t starting the riots and the violence. The very same ANTIFA who in their quest to fight fascist go out and act EXACTLY like hitlers browncoats to get their point across. The very same Antifa that burned the only possessions of a homeless man with mental issues. Yeah, those guys would never start the violence.

"The idea in Antifa is that we go where they (right-wingers) go. That hate speech is not free speech. That if you are endangering people with what you say and the actions that are behind them, then you do not have the right to do that.

"And so we go to cause conflict, to shut them down where they are, because we don't believe that Nazis or fascists of any stripe should have a mouthpiece." - Scott Crow

I don't think you see Antifa starting any demonstrations or protests. They go where the white nationalists and fascists are and bust heads. They don't shy from conflict - it's their purpose.

Makes me wish I were younger.

International ANTIFA was fighting together with terroristic organisation YPG (and the latter was supported by the USA).

Young people who failed out of sociology class at university and now think they will lead a revolution because they read a Wikipedia passage about Karl Marx and Das Kapital.

They aren't trying to lead a revolution, although that's a lovely strawman. They just want to break some fascists' heads. Nothing wrong with that.

Antifa do a lot of good. Nazis should not be allowed the freedom of the streets. Facism should be strangled at birth. It has no place in a civilised society.

What good do they do? I personally have never seen them do a philanthropic thing. All they do is engage in violence. They are more fascist than the white supremacists.

If I remember right I defined them a previous post, but since a picture is a thousands words to many, perhaps this will help:

Some may be surprised to learn that they originated as a communist group in Nazi Germany.

Today, they are a part of the international Left.

"Antifaschistische Aktion (German: [ˌantifaˈʃɪstɪʃə ʔakˈtsi̯oːn]), commonly known under its abbreviation Antifa (German: [ˈantifaː]), was an organisation affiliated with the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) that existed from 1932 to 1933. It was primarily active as a KPD campaign during the 1932 elections and was described by the KPD as a "red united front under the leadership of the only anti-fascist party, the KPD".[1] Under the leadership of the committed Stalinist Ernst Thälmann, the KPD viewed fascism primarily as the final stage of capitalism rather than as a specific movement or group, and therefore applied the term to all other parties. The front focused largely on attacking the KPD's main adversary, the centre-left Social Democratic Party of Germany, whom they referred to as social fascists and regarded as the "main pillar of the dictatorship of Capital."[2] "

Wow, the left must really be terrified. One little announcement to allow the FBI to treat Antifa as a domestic terror group has sent the media into a frenzy. Immediately they claimed the President doesn’t have the authority, which is 100% false. Now they are trying to make any excuse to protect their international terror network.

And of course, their keyboard warriors like the OP have to push the narrative that Antifa aren’t a bunch of anarchists, fascists, socialists, and communists that all hate America, hate capitalism, and hate white people.
I never voiced any support for Antifa whatsoever. Too bad for you they are now irrelevant.
