A nationwide emergency number has been established for those who go insane, and need to have the fellows with nets to come and bring them to a rubber room.
I don't see why the traditional emergency services number didn't suffice.
911 staff should be able to figure out whether the people need the psych crew, police or EMT's to arrive, based on the call, no?
Why a separate number?
