California..like many states...does have Sanctuary Cities, along with Texas, AZ, etc. That being said, let us not forget CA is the WORLD'S 6th largest economy, produces 13% of this country's GDP, and pays more federal taxes than all other states... even financially subsidizes some Red states.
Demographically speaking CA has the largest Caucasian population of all 50 states - so as far as sanctuary places go...
being a state who opposes tearing families apart is commendable and humane..and no one is worried about the ethical treatment of others.
