What bigotry do Jews or Asians face in America? American Jews are richer than gentiles for the number of people and the Asian Americans i met are university educated professionals. Black and Latino Americans are considered impoverished groups from what I hear but not all of them are poor.

California has often been on the cutting edge of prgressive and enlightened innitiatives. Good for them. That is a distorted and biased interpretation of CRT. CRT is about acknowledging the realities that people of color faced historically and continue to face today. It is about educating everyone about important cultural issues.

If we white people, and others embrace a true and accurate understanding of race relations past and present, those who have been victims of oppression will have more respect for us. White people, like myself need not be threatened by taking responsility as a race and committing to do what we can to making the nation a better place for all people.

That includes calling out systemic racism as well as casual racism and being aware how many of us unknowingly contribute to it . Let me explain this from a different perspective. One that is clear.

Germany (and Austria).

In 1945 Germany (and Austria) was suffering from the defeat in WW2. Germany was partitioned into four parts which eventually became two with East and West Germany. Austria was going to be partitioned but the Soviets were like "fuck it, who cares?"

So, the East Germans were told they'd be fine as long as they were good Communists.
The Austrians were told the war wasn't their fault.
The West Germans were told that the war was all their fault. They took on all of the guilt of Germany and Austria.

Fast forward to the 1990s and the present era.

West Germany has the most tolerance, it is the least likely to vote for far right parties.

The NDP is essentially Germany's far right party. The AfD is their further right party.

In 2017 the AfD did much better in the former East Germany than anywhere else.

Austria has it's problems with the far right. There was a dude called Jörg Haider who ran the BZÖ which was mainly a Carinthian political party, with another party elsewhere. He was known to have said nice things about the SS.

Germany dealt with its past, dealt with its racism, it's problems head on, it didn't ignore them behind emotional language like you've used. And it is a much more tolerant place now.

But then I guess the right doesn't want tolerance. The language you use is the language that keeps intolerance going.....
